Plantation Barbados VSOR 6 Year Old Port Cask Finish 45% -70cl
Matured in ex bourbon casks and 1 year in Ferrand casks and a final 4 months in a port wine pipe.
Nose: Light smooth and creamy opening on the nose, with sweet fig’s dark plumbs and hints of golden toffee and some chocolate and toasted nuts, berries and sweet spices, strawberry, cracked black pepper.
Palate: Lots of rich and building flavours on the palate, vanilla and soft toffee, with peaches and spices, some summer berries and whipped fudge, a soft nutty tone leading to a rich and flavour packed finish of fruits, ground coffee and spices.
