Botanical artist Etienne Denisse published Flore d Amérique (1843) which was a series of 201 hand-painted plates portraying the nature he had been surrounded by living in the French West Indies. The intricacy and diverse range of species depicted in his artwork are beautifully captured in these stunning socks.
