This USDA certified organic reposado is rested in white oak barrels for 6 months before bottling. This lightly aged tequila can be used in specialty cocktails and is delicious to sip.

Alquimia reposado tequila is 100% agave with no nasty additives or manipulation and is the only known certified 100% organic tequila in Australia. Everyone told Adolfo that he could not plant agave on his family’s ranch in Agua Negra, which is precisely why he did. In 1992, Adolfo conducted extensive soil tests and realized that with organic methods, it could be done. He combined the modern science he learned in the U.S. with the traditional agricultural methods employed by his grandfather in Mexico to produce an organic protocol that would change the small town forever.

AROMA: The reposado has retained the agave aromas and flavours of the blanco, with subtle hints of the oak. Vanilla and cinnamon are present too.
TASTE: In the mouth this is deliciously oily. Cooked agave, vanilla and butter. The mid palate sees the spice from the oak play gently with the sweeter notes. On the finish those buttery, vanilla tones ease back to the forefront. Tops.
